Valley Wellness Center

Cancelled my membership after watching this place go downhill for 8 straight months. Management has turned over so many times I’ve lost count and every new manager means another few weeks of neglect before the next one shows up. The place is just dirty. Restrooms are consistently gross, lockers stink and there’s a bad smell that hangs over the facility. The indoor pool area is rusty and the outdoor pool water clearly isn’t being properly maintained. I’d often leave feeling gross rather than refreshed. In the spin room, they can’t even be bothered to get commercial fans, it turns into a sauna during classes. There’s no sign anyone is actually investing in maintaining this place. Something is always out of order for weeks, usually the hot tub, nasty sauna or steam room. Whatever potential it had is being wasted through pure neglect. I wouldn’t recommend it as-is and I don’t have much confidence it’ll get better.

Maintenance issues abound. This may have been a good gym when it originally opened, but it is quickly showing it's age. Rusted, cracked equipment. A scarcity of rags to wipe benches. Toilets with fecal matter in puzzling places. I imagine it takes a lot of work to run a gym, but the members of the gym deserve so much more.

Valley wellness center is not only a beautiful, and relaxing atmosphere for a self care day alone,There were so many accommodations for everyone in the family!! From the outside swimming pool, and water slides for a day with with our children plus, an indoor pool l!! The café, personal trainers, classes, and even a salon, and so much more!! Not to mention the friendl, professional, and kind staff. The owner also took time out of his busy day to give me a tour! I have never experienced such a clean, phenomenal experience!! True luxury, uniquely exquisite. Thank you again!!

First and foremost, I love this gym. However, after speaking with many friends and other members we all stumble on the same theme. This gym could so easily be state of the art and 5 stars. However, cleanliness and some amenities can absolutely improve. I read other reviews saying they improve- but being there almost everyday I know they are not. Every shower has hair on the floor and maybe 1 out of maybe 6 showers has 3 soaps. Usually soaps are pretty low. The sauna is the main reason I signed up and have been in cleaner AND hotter saunas at other gyms. I see other reviews of people saying the same thing and the comments mention it operates at 175+. Not even close. The thermometer reads 180 because it is basically at the ceiling and is above the heater. Where people sit is usually 130-150 max. Top level around 140, bottom around 130. So the 20 others mentioning it isn’t hot enough were not making things up. The door (which should be air tight) has a 3/4 inch gap top and bottom. This bleeds the electric bill as the heat just seeps out. A simple weather strip or maintenance would easily fix or help that issue. There are signs about the sensor and splashing water- people wouldn’t do i

It is a beautiful and wonderful place to the right people. Upon entry, we are impressed with the building, the parking lot and the service desk and the very spacious lobby. Everything gives the aurora of a resort. the basketball court is NICE and clean. The bathrooms and family change rooms are nice. We did not try the machines. The drawback for us is the swimming pool. The room and water temperature is too not for training. For kids to play, there is no lifeguard on duty. Every piece of metal in the swimming area is rusty. The good part is that there are bicycles in the water for people to ride. Then i realized that it is called “Wellness Center”. Maybe it is meant for people to do therapy or recover or hang out. I hope the center could survive and prosper. I do not think it is for serious swimmers. but if you are close by, this center offers a lot of warmth and comfort and niceties like a Florida resort.
